The Album is Done! - October 18, 2007
Reaction to the new album is pouring in (ok more like drifting) and so far many nice comments and great reactions. A neighbor of mine said he and his wife love to sing-along in the car with it. My friend in Japan, Yasuhiko played a guitar part on it and he's happy to finally hear the finished product. I'm relieved its done and terrified that now I will have to memorize all the words so I can sing them at the CD release party (hate memorizing). Plans are underway for a great show.
New Bass!! - April 19, 2007
So Connie and I had breakfast at Wild Abandon and walk out to see 12th Fret is open and like a lemming to the sea I walk across the street where inside I see hanging there this darling old bass that says to me "buy me you fool." So I did. Its fretless and short scale and sounds like a Paul Mcartney bass, in fact the body was built in Germany just like his old Hofner was. I love it and hope to play it at many lovely gigs. Its a cool old bass. See it on the photo page.
